We also provide fully funded, turnkey energy storage solutions designed to reduce energy bills, generate new income streams and enhance energy security.  Our technology is architected to deliver global solutions and is already tested and commercially proven in the highly deregulated UK energy market.

What you’ll get to do

It’s an exciting time to join Origami Energy! We are a fast-paced agile development team looking to recruit a dedicated Scrum Master to bring a step change to our productivity and efficiency. You will use your extensive experience to help us to up-skill the team in agile best practice.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

  • Coach the team in agile best practice and focus on continuous improvement
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as scrum, planning, retrospective and sprint reviews
  • Help the team to remove impediments and perform as highly as possible
  • Ensure measurement of performance metrics such as burn-down, velocity, release cycle, etc.
  • Work with the Product Owners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of valuable new features and functionality
  • Inform our training and recruitment processes to maintain well-balanced teams

What we’re looking for

Required experience:

  • Track record of successfully leading the implementation of agile (scrum) within technology organisations
  • Solid understanding of agile best practice
  • Experience with facilitating the scrum ceremonies
  • Effective approach to coaching and mediating
  • Knowledge of performance measurement and reporting to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable experience:

  • Experience using JIRA
  • Exposure to cloud platform development teams
  • Software development background
  • Familiarity with modern CI technologies
