The Role

Origami is developing an increasing number of strategic partnerships and these commercial arrangements are pivotal to our future.  The role of Commercial Delivery Manager will address two main areas.  The person will provide the rigour, process, and oversight required to ensure the key technical, operational and commercial commitments and associated functionality are delivered on time and to budget with all key risks identified and mitigated. In addition, the person will own the operational aspects of Account Management for our strategic partners, focussing on maintaining day to day relationships for the smooth operation of our partnerships and the identification and delivery of value added activities and opportunities.


  • 5+ years’ experience of Programme/Project Management and Account Management (an equal experience of both would be advantageous)
  • A track record of delivery within integrated commercial, operational, and technical environments
  • Experience in one or more areas of the Energy industry would be advantageous
  • Experience of using one or more CRM systems
  • A degree or equivalent
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), capable of communicating highly complicated and intricate solutions in an easily understood way
  • A value-driven approach balanced with the commercial acumen to understand the trade-offs between risk and reward and deliver new value-adding opportunities
  • Relationship-oriented with an ability to build strong and enduring internal and external relationships and to interface and empathise with strategic customers at various levels of seniority and function
  • Results-oriented and able to develop a solution to deliver both Origami Energy’s and the customer’s objectives and find ways to pre-empt problems and issues
